McLELLAN, EDITH PEARL - The passing of Edith Pearl (Warman) McLellan of the special care home in Gagetown, NB, formerly of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Earl Ross McLellan, of Niagra Falls, ON, occurred on Thursday, June 30th, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on November 14, 1913, in Devon, NB, she was the daughter of the late Egbert J. and L. Pearl (Branch) Warman. She was a member of Marysville United Church, Fredericton, NB, and the life member of the United Church Women. Edith graduated from Gagetown Grammar School and worked for the United Church of Canada in many locations across Canada. She and her husband operated a pharmacy in Kitchener, Ontario. Edith is survived by her sisters, Nelda (Wilbur) Pickard, of Ottawa, ON, and Wanda (Stewart) Harding, of Fredericton, NB; brother, Wendell “Red” Warman (Alice), of Barrie, ON; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sisters, Isabelle Wilkins and Ruth McKaskell; brothers, Gerald and Bud Warman.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Monday, July 4th, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Marysville United Church on Tuesday, July 5th, 2011 at 2pm with Rev. Kelly Burke officiating. Interment will take place in Alexander Gibson Memorial Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Missions and Service Fund of the United Church of Canada or the charity of the donor’s choice.
