Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, July 8, 2011 in her 65th year, after a valiant and courageous battle with cancer. Annie is finally reunited with her loving husband Sam. Leaving with great memories and a life well lived are her children Betty (Curtis Churchill), Lynette (Shawn Codner), Sam (Lesley), Tom (Lynn), Darrell (Darcy) and Walter (April). Annie’s grandchildren Rhiannan, Shalyn, Kyle, Brooklyn, Braiden, Ava, Kelsey, Amelia, Samuel and Rebecca will hold loving memories of Nanny Gosse in their hearts forever. Also left behind are her sisters Marie McGrath, Sheila Janes and Delores LeBlanc, sisters-in-law Sr. Margaret Mary Gosse and Madonna Micheals, and her life long friend Terry Wadland. Annie has left her mark on the hearts of her dear friends and they will remember the many laughs, card games, stories of old, and good times they shared together. We thank all of you for your love and support as Mom battled through her last days. She could not have gotten through it without all of you. A very special heartfelt thank you to Dr. Karen Lake and the various doctors and nursing staff at Eastern Health. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home in Torbay on Saturday, July 9 from 3 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Sunday July 10 from 12 noon - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place from Holy Trinity Church, Torbay on Monday, July 11, 2011 at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow with interment at the R.C. Cemetery, Torbay. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Clinic.
