Passed away on July 4/2011 after a courageous battle against cancer. Born in River Hebert,NS , the youngest child of the late John Christopher and Margaret(Kirkpatrick)Harper. Predeceased by four siblings. Survived by sister,Frances(Harper)Shearim;nephew Eric(Huguette)Manship, nephew Gary, and great nephews Kevin and Keith Manship.Allister went to school in River Hebert and Amherst, was employed in Amherst and a retired employee of the Town of Port Hope,Ontario. "Gus" was an avid sports follower, a solver of Jig Saw and Crossword puzzles, fond of animals and a bicycle enthusiast.Creamation has taken place . Interment at the Amherst Cemetary at a later date.
