At the Dr. John Gillis Memorial Lodge in Eldon on Saturday, September 19, 2009, of Bernard (Benny) Koke of Montague, age 81 years. Husband of the late Rita Koke (nee Gill). Loving father of George (Judy). Cherished grandfather of Cody (Ashley), and step-grandfather of Connie (Mark) Richards and great-grandfather of Kennedy, Halle, Turner and Cole. Brother of Jacob (Shirley), Wilhelmus, Willemijntje, Gertitse, Johannes, Cornelis, and Sophia. Predeceased by brothers and sisters Dirk, Hendrika, Gerardus, Gerrit, Antonius, and Wiehelmina. Resting at Ferguson’s Montague Funeral Home until Tuesday at 3:20 p.m., then to St. Mary’s Church, Montague, for funeral mass at 3:30. Interment in the St. Mary’s Parish Cemetery. Visitation Monday 6-9 p.m. only. If so desired, memorials to the St. Mary’s Building Fund or to Foster Parents Plan would be appreciated. The Knights of Columbus will be holding prayers at the funeral home Monday, Sept.21, at 5:30 p.m.
