GILLIANS, Ruth Patricia– Passed away peacefully on July 14, 2011 at the age of 84. Ruth had just celebrated her 65th wedding anniversary with her husband Richard Rawson Gillians. Cherished mother of David and his wife Lynne, Steven, Sandra and Scott and his wife Lisa. Beloved grandmother of Sara, Laura, Lindsay, Melanie, Victoria and Elizabeth. Proud great-grandmother of Oliver Leonard. Ruth was not only Dick’s soulmate but also played a very important role in his career as an insurance broker. She loved hiking with the ‘Happy Hoofers.’ A celebration of Ruth’s life will be held at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St. Kitchener, 519 749 8467 on Sunday, July 17, 2011 from 2:30 p.m. until Ruth’s memorial service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 3:30 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
