It is with great sadness that the family of the late Janet Anderson announce her passing at Nanaimo, British Columbia on Monday, September 14, 2009 at the age of 82 years. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Bonnie (Bob) McIntosh of Nanaimo, British Columbia, one brother, Rothney (Dollie) Stockley of Botwood, one sister, Gertrude (Lyle) Marvin of Ontario. She also leaves to mourn many nieces & nephews scattered throughout Canada, and other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Scotty Anderson and son, Roy Anderson. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Tuesday, from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, September 23rd, at 2:00 p.m. at Russell’s Funeral Home Chapel, 39 Queen Street, Stephenville with Rev. Kathryn Eddy officiating. Interment will take place at the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville.
