The death of Jake Bergen, age 71 years occurred at Rosthern Hospital on July 21, 2011. He is survived by wife, Delphine; children, Annette, Gloria (Ed) Neufeld, Norma (Todd) Meier, Brian (Nancy); stepchildren, Curtis (Wima) Peterson, Colin (Debbie) Peterson, Orlin Peterson, Diane Peterson and 10 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Maria in 2001. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 25, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Rosthern Mennonite Church with Pastor Craig Neufeld officiating. Interment will take place at Rosthern Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Youth Farm Bible Camp, Box 636, Rosthern, SK S0K 3R0 or Canadian Foodgrains Bank, 400 – 280 Smith Street, Box 767, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 2L4.
