Surrounded by his loving family it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Wilfred Arsenault on Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, of 42 Kelly Drive, Miscouche.
He was born on Nov. 22, 1953, son of Euclide and Julia (Perry) Arsenault, Saint Raphael.
Survived by his spouse, Emily Duffy Arsenault; and his children, Jason (Beth) Arsenault, and grandchildren Ryan and Alexis from Halifax; Martin (Samantha) Arsenault, Charlottetown; Brian (Mandy Power) Arsenault, and grandchildren, Chaice and Leila, Richmond Hill, Ontario; brothers, Leo Arsenault of Saint John, N.B., Martin (Darlene) Arsenault, Edmond (Faye) Arsenault; and sisters, Marlene (Leo) Keefe, Melvina (Rick) Lundy, Therese (friend) Robert McKenna and Norma (Ross) Jackson. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Predeceased in infancy by brothers George and Gerard, and a sister named Mary.
Visitation to take place at the Evangeline Funeral Home, Urbainville, on Friday, July 29, 2011, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., and also on Saturday, July 30, 2011, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Funeral mass to take place at Saint John the Baptist Church, Miscouche, on Saturday, July 30, 2011, at 1 p.m.
At the request of the family (no flowers please), donations will be greatly appreciated to the Evangeline Funeral Home or the Saint John the Baptist Church Fund.
Interment to take place in the church cemetery.
