CORMIER, EMMA - Emma Cormier, 84, of Bas Cap-Pelé, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2011 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Centre following a sudden illness. Born August 26, 1926 in Cap-Pelé, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Minnie (Cormier) LeBlanc. She is survived by her five children: Donalda LeBlanc (Norbert), Pauline Bourque (Roméo), Patricia LeBlanc (Alverie), and Lucille LeBlanc (Paul) all of Cap-Pelé, and Aldéric Cormier (Caroline) of Moncton; two brothers: George LeBlanc (Margaret) and Billie LeBlanc (Bernice) of Cap-Pelé; two sisters: Dorothée Jacob (late Émile) of Moncton, and Marie Fougère (Henri) of Cap-Pelé; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Ovila Cormier (2008), and a sister, Lizzie Landry.
At her request, there will be no visiting hours, The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse d'Avila R.C. Church, Cap-Pelé, on Friday, August 5, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In memory of Emma, a contribution to the NB Heart & Stroke or the the Cap-Pelé Cemetery Fund would be appreciated.
