Passed suddenly away at Gaultois on Monday, July 25th, 2011, Mrs. Violet Wells, age 68 years. Leaving to mourn her loving family, brothers John Simms at Gaultois and Wallace (Diane) of Mount Pearl, 3 sisters Cathy Penny, Lavina Ayles, Elsie Power (Vincent) and sister-in-law Ruby Simms all at Mount Pearl, sister-in-law Tryphena (William Piercey), Milltown and sister-in-law Sophie Engram (John), Head of Bay D’espoir, and brother-in-law Charles Wells (Katie) in Ontario plus a number of other relatives, nieces, nephews and friends, Predeceased by her husband William Wells, parents John and Kathleen Simms, brothers Clyde and Harvey, sister Jessie and sister-in-law Mabel Simms. Funeral service was held on Thursday, July 28th from St. Luke’s Anglican Church in Gaultois with Rev. Charles Harris officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Gaultois.
