Horsman
At the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Monday, Aug. 8, 2011 of Edna Horsman (nee Pineau) of Fernwood, aged 87 years. Born in Mayfield on Jan. 30, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Amos Pineau and the late Agnes Cecelia (Blacquiere) Pineau. Edna is survived by brothers and sisters Theresa (late Stanley) Rogers, Summerside; Georgina (late Charles) Cope, Moncton; Alvin (Anna) Fredericton, NB; William-Bill Fernwood; Charles, Fernwood; Marion (late Fred) Howard, Moncton and Vernon (Gloria) Charlottetown. Pre-deceased by her husband, Burton Horsman. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by brothers and sisters Louis, Edward, Hazel and Lorraine. Resting at Lawless Funeral Home, Kinkora. Visiting hours Wednesday, Aug. 10 from 6 to 9 p.m. only. Members of the Catholic Women’s League will say prayers at the funeral home on Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. Funeral will be held on Thursday, Aug. 11 at St. Peter’s Church, Seven Mile Bay with funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery. Donations in Edna’s memory may be made to the Parish Cemetery Fund or Cancer Society.
