At the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Monday, August 8, 2011, of Edna Horsman (nee Pineau) of Fernwood, aged 87 years.
Born in Mayfield on January 30, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Amos Pineau and the late Agnes Cecelia (Blacquiere) Pineau. Edna is survived by brothers and sisters Theresa (late Stanley) Rogers, Summerside; Georgina (late Charles) Cope, Moncton; Alvin (Anna) Fredericton, N.B.; William-Bill, Fernwood; Charles, Fernwood; Marion (late Fred) Howard, Moncton; and Vernon (Gloria), Charlottetown. Predeceased by her husband, Burton Horsman. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by brothers and sisters Louis, Edward, Hazel and Lorraine.
Resting at Lawless Funeral Home, Kinkora. Visiting hours Wednesday, August 10, from 6 to 9 p.m. only. Funeral will be held on Thursday, August 11, at St. Peter’s Church, Seven Mile Bay, with funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
