Peacefully at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie, on Monday, August 8, 2011, in her 48th year. Deborah (nee Shields), beloved wife of Michael. Cherished mother of Brock, Sarah, Amy and Jodi. Loving daughter of Reg Shields (late Theresa). Dear sister of Fran Young (Greg), Billy Shields (Stephanie), Patricia Shields and Brian Shields.
The family will receive friends at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Rd., Barrie, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Saturday afternoon, August 13, at 3 o’clock.
If desired, memorial donations made to The Princess Margaret Hospital Pencer Centre, Gildas Club in Barrie or Hospice Simcoe would be appreciated by the family.
