McCANN, Douglas William "Bill" - Born April 10, 1929, in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia and passed away peacefully on August 13, 2011, Windsor, Ontario, with his family by his side, age 82 years. Loving husband of 60 years to Lorraine. Loving father to Michael (Rene), Patricia McCarthy, Joseph (Lisa), the late William (1991), Catherine and the late Colleen (1968). Dear Grandpa to Kimberly, Kristy, Kara, Brandon and Cory. Great Grandpa to Dante, Caleb and Tyler. Son of the late Douglas and Edith McCann. Dear brother to Lorraine Connelly, the late Malcolm, Jack, the late Greg and Colleen Watson. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. Bill worked at General Foods for 15 years and was a retiree of Chrysler Canada and a member of Local #444. He was also a lifetime member of the Riverside Knights of Columbus, Council #4924. He enjoyed many things in life, such as camping at Ravine Cottages for 26 years, golfing, bowling, music and to him there was only one hockey team, the Toronto Maple Leafs.
