RYAN, Elizabeth Mary – (Pittman-Wakeham) October 24, 1930-August 18, 2011. Lizzie passed away peacefully at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home in the loving embrace of her family and caregivers. Elizabeth (Lizzie) leaves to mourn her husband of 53 years, Vince; her son Gary and his wife, Cheryl; her daughter Janet and husband, Andy; and her daughter Roseann. She will be especially missed by her grandchildren: Emily Warren, Stephen Ryan, Peter Warren, Amanda Ryan, Elizabeth Penney, Ryan Penney and Keith Warren. Her memory will also be cherished by her many cousins, nieces and nephews of the Ryan, Pittman, Wakeham and Tobin families. She will be remembered with great love by a circle of close friends and with fondness by people she touched through years of community work. There was always room for you at her table and homemade bread enough for everyone. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Mahers Funeral Home of Placentia. Visitation to take place from 2-4 and 7-9 on Saturday (20th) and Sunday (21st) with Mass at Sacred Heart Church in Placentia at 11am Monday, August 22.
