FOLEY, FRANCIS WILLIAM (BILL) - Passed away at the Milton District Hospital in Milton, Ontario on Thursday, August 25, 2011 after a brief battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Eva (Graham), his daughters Maureen (Ric) Chessman, Kathy Veneman and son Bill (Kim). He was Papa to five beautiful granddaughters who brought much joy
to his life; Jane, Emily and Shannon Chessman and Maggie and Abbey Veneman. He will be missed by his granddogs, Joey and Lilly. Bill was born in Sackville, N.B. on August 8, 1942 to Frank and Anne (Durick) Foley.
The family moved to Chatham, N.B. in 1958. Bill graduated from St. Thomas High School in 1960. He worked at Sheridan Equip/Strongco for 33 years, retiring in 2001. Bill is survived by his brother Tom (Pat) of Alix, Alberta and sisters Beth of Miramichi, N.B. and Patty (Frank) of Newmarket, ON. Bill loved the Miramichi, especially Newcastle where he spent many happy summers with his grandparents, William and Nan Durick. In respect for Bill's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral. There will be a private family memorial at a later date. A donation to your local Humane Society in Bill's memory would be appreciated by the family.
