PHINNEY, Robert K. – 77, of Lambs Hill Rd., Parrsboro passed away Saturday, October 3, 2009 at South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Parrsboro. Born in Parrsboro, he was a son of the late Violet Phinney. He is survived by his wife, the former Leona Hebb; daughters, Myrtle Barkhouse (Eugene), Halifax; Linda Brown (Russell), Southampton; Brenda Welsh (Gerald), Parrsboro; Sue Clarke (Stephen), Wharton; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Monday (October 5, 2009) at the Parrsboro United Cemetery, Rev. Greg Doyle officiating.
