LANDRY, EDMOND - 95, formerly of Cap-Pelé, passed away on Friday September 2, 2011 at the Villa Providence in Shediac. Born on October 21, 1915 in Cap-Pelé, he was the son of the late Daniel and Marie (Gaudet) Landry. Before his retirement, he was the owner operator of Greenhouse Carpet. He is survived by his wife, Annie (LeBlanc); four daughters: Anna Brun (Henri) of Dupuis Corner, Diane Landry (Alyre Cormier) of Portage, Jeanne Anderson of Moncton, and Marie Goguen (Ronald) of Grand-Barachois; a son, Clovis of Shediac; a daughter-in-law, Bernice Landry of Shédiac; a brother, Arthur (Maria) of Cap-Pelé; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sons: Paul-Émile, Clovis, Gérard, Alfred and Gérard; his sisters: Anna Landry, Élise Landry, Edmée Bourque and Cécile Berthe; three brothers: Aldège, Henri and Oswald.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Funérarium Frenette, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap Pelé (577-3297). Visiting hours Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, from 2 p.m. until time of departure. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Sainte-Thérèse-d’Avila R.C. Church, Cap Pelé, on Monday, September 5, 2011 at 3 p.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In memory of Edmond, donations to the Cap-Pelé Cemetery Fund would be appreciated.
