PRIDMORE, Amanda (Neil) – Passed away August 22, 2011 after a lengthy battle with cancer in Whitby, Ontario, age 36 years. Beloved wife to Rob Pridmore (Whitby, Ont.); treasured daughter to Roberta and Fred Neil (Paradise, NL); devoted sister to Leslie Neil (fiancé Ed Churchill); oldest granddaughter of Faith House (St. John’s, NL). Also leaving to mourn, parents-in-law William and Mildred Pridmore (Ancaster, Ont.); uncles Ric Neil (Joe), Wade Neil (Donetta); special aunt and trusted friend throughout her battle Judy Pittman (Glenn), aunts Mary Neil, Carolyn Neil, Peggy Peddle, as well as a large circle of cousins, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her grandfather Robert House and Nana Ada Bradley. Amanda was a vibrant and outgoing woman who lived her life to the fullest. She was an inspiration to everyone whose life she touched. Amanda was especially connected with her YACC (Young Adults Cancer Canada) family and treasured the memories made through them and their support that enabled her to experience her life to the fullest even during her last months. Cremation and Burial has taken place in Whitby, Ontario. Donations in her memory can be made to YACC. A celebration of her life will take place in Newfoundland during the coming month.
