At the Kings County Memorial Hospital in Montague on Thursday, October 8, 2009, of Emily Irene Keenan (nee MacLean) of Murray River, age 66 years.
Beloved wife of Rankin Keenan. Loving mother of Kerrilee Keenan and Karen (Jud) Crossman. Cherished grandmother of Emma, Colby and Tristan. Dear sister of Chester (Anne), Summerside; Vernon (Joan), Victoria, B.C.; Jerry (Cecille), Montague; sister-in-law of Franklin Whiteway and Marilyn (Wendell) Drake.
Predeceased by daughter, Julie Leanne; brother, Arnett; and sister, Marion Whiteway.
Resting at Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home from where the service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Sunday at 2 p.m. Interment in the Murray River Cemetery.
Visitation: Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. If so desired, memorials to the Murray River Cemetery Fund or to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Cancer Unit would be appreciated.
