
Florence Bremner
BREMNER, FLORENCE (COGSWELL) - Florence Bremner of Fredericton, N.B. passed away peacefully in Oromocto at the age of 97 on September 6, 2011. Born in Centerville, N.B. she was predeceased by her husband Jack C. Bremner 1979 and granddaughter Deborah A. Forbes 2010. Survived by four children; John and Patricia Bremner, Fredericton; Carolyn and Chris Matthews, Philadelphia; Elizabeth and Malcolm Forbes, Tucson; Loree and Dr. Otto Papp, Houston, and by five grandchildren, Allison, Cheryl, Brent, Elod, and Chantal. She graduated from Centerville High School and later attended Nursing School at Montreal General. She lived in California’s San Joaquin Valley, St. Stephen, Moncton, Chesterville Ontario, Chatham and Sun City (Phoenix) Arizona. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church, an avid painter, reader, quilter and a wonderful cook. She loved to travel, enjoyed her flower garden, was a great sport and had a keen sense of humor. She also took great pleasure in afternoon tea with her neighbors.
The family wishes to thank her close friends for their kindness and support.
