Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick’s Nursing Home on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009. Margaret Babstock aged 91 years. Predeceased by her loving husband Arthur (1995); infant daughter Thelma, and infant son Ralph. Leaving to mourn with fond memories her children: Reg (Doris), Doug (Peggy Cullimore), Gary (Kathy Goodsell) of Ottawa and Gail Babstock; grandchildren: Cindie Babstock (Rob Fildes), Caryn Babstock (Mike Dzuirban) of Toronto, Krista Lewis (Jeff) of Ottawa, Deanne Babstock (Bob Moret), Paul (Diana Costanzino) of Vancouver, Craig (Kelly Tynan) of Moncton, Nathaniel, Margaret Ann Babstock of Ottawa, Sheri Roberts (Danny), Gary Peddle (Colleen Keefe) and Mitchell Ghaney; great-grandchildren: Chloe, Richard, Mark, Kyle, Rowen, Paige, Emma and Abigail; sisters: Hilda Hussey, Rita Murphy of Indiana, and Dorothy Specht of Minnesota; as well as many other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Wednesday, Oct. 14 and Thursday, Oct. 15 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Logy Bay Road on Friday, Oct. 16th at 2:30 pm. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Margaret’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
