It is with great sadness that the family of the late Donald Gordon Snooks announces his sudden passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on October 10, 2009 at the age of 54 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Rosemarie (nee Leonard); daughter Denise of British Columbia; sons Mark (Jennifer) and Scott (Monica); two precious grandsons Thomas and Theodore; sisters Dolores Park (Jerry), Marie Marks, Jean Payne (Danny), Susan West (Glenn), Patsy Wheeler (Danny), Sadie Edwards (Dick); brothers Dave (Mary) and Lew; sister-in-law Patricia Mombourquette (Hillary); brothers-in-law Father Don Leonard, Reg (Linda); father-in-law John Leonard; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his parents Katherine and Gordon Snooks, mother-in-law Marie Leonard and brother-in-law John Leonard. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Country Haven Funeral Home 167 Country Road. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. from Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Father Don Leonard officiating. Cremation to follow.
