It is with great sadness that the family of the late Pleman Harnett announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at the age of 82 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Edna, six sons: Andrew (Carol) of Laclabiche, Alberta, Ross (Genie) of Athabaska, Alberta, Raymond (Karen) and Aaron (Rene), Dave (Christine), Gerald (Jenny), all of Fort McMurray, Alberta, three daughters: Florence (Charles) King of Prince Rupert, British Columbia, Maureen (Wayne) Simon of Kippens, Joanne (Paul) Dunphy of Fort McMurray, Alberta, two brothers: Stanley (Hilda) of Kippens, William (Louise) of Ontario, one sister, Emma Duffett of Catalina, NL, 15 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Alexander and May and brother, Ambrose. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Russell’s Funeral Home, Stephenville.
