Peacefully surrounded by her family at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home, on Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011. After a long and courageous battle with cancer, it brings great sadness to announce the passing of Carol Ann Pound (nee Dunsford) of Charlottetown, age 62 years. Beloved wife of Cliff Pound. Loving mother of Renée Sampson (Jeff). Carol is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Felicity and Gavin Sampson. Sister of Leonard Dunsford, Damien Dunsford (Claire), Ernie Dunsford (Joanne), and Wayne Dunsford (Linda Brazel). Predeceased by her parents Elmer and Bella (Arsenault) Dunsford, her sister Verna Dunsford and her brother Joseph Dunsford. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home until Wednesday at 9:45 a.m., then to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Visitation Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the P.E.I. Cancer Treatment Centre of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital or to the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home.
