CHURCH, MARJORIE - Marjorie Rose Church, 85, of the K. E. Spencer Memorial Home, passed away on Tuesday September 13, 2011. Born January 25, 1926 in England, she was the daughter of the late George and Winnifred (Price) Church. Marjorie worked as a chef, she was a war bride, a member of the British Land Army and Legion Branch #6. She is survived by her daughters Jennifer Arsenault of BC, Carol Arsenault (Raj) of BC, Helen Constantine (Rick) of Havelock and Marjorie Strout (Allen) of Orington, ME; son Philip (Jean) of Salisbury; sisters Joyce Wood of Alberta and Olive Smith (Ron) of England; 12 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Hugh (2009).
There will be a private graveside service at Maplewood Cemetery, Thursday, September 15, 2011 with Rev. Dan Compton officiating. In memory of Marjorie, donations to the Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home or charity of choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements are in the care of Salisbury Funeral Home 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800).
