Aubrey Jeffries beloved husband of 69 years to Verna Mott. Loving father of Grace Goodall and Bob and his beloved daughter in law Freda. Raised in Cobalt helping his father in their bakery, at 16 he apprenticed to the Bellis and Morcom Machine works in Birmingham, England. He returned to Ontario’s north to work at the Wright Hargreaves Mine in Kirkland Lake. He left the north to join the Merchant Navy early in the war. At the close of war he began a progressive and successful career working for power generating utilities; Ontario Power, Hydro Quebec, New Brunswick Power, and Nova Scotia Power retiring in 1985. He was particularly proud of his work and associates for New Brunswick’s Point Lepreau Nuclear Generating Facility.
