At the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Tuesday, September 13, 2011, of Claude Cornish of Sumerset Manor and formerly of Tryon, age 73 years.
Beloved husband of Margaret (nee McNally) Cornish. Father of Velda (Mickey) Sonier, Barbara (Stanford) Paynter, Claude (Linda) Cornish, Robert (Francie) Cornish, Susan (Ron) Gallant, and Harley (Tina) Cornish. Also survived by 18 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, sisters Alice Timmons, Mary (Wendell) Machette, brothers Ralph and Marven and sister-in-law Ursula Cornish. Predeceased by his parents Earl and Margaret Cornish, sisters Elsie, Lula and Jennie and brother Wendell.
Resting at the Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud, with visitation on Sunday, Sept. 18, 4-7 p.m. Funeral mass at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Kelly's Cross, on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment in St. Joseph's Parish Cemetery.
