We, the family of William Frances ‘Buddy’ Lawrence, wish to announce his passing on Oct. 9, 2009, in Innisfail, Alta.
He was the son of the late Thomas William ‘Bill’ and Grace (Covey) Lawrence.
He will be missed by his wife, Patricia (Higgins); sons, Mark (Theresa), Stephen (Lorna), Tony (Jody) and daughter, Laura (Dusty); daughter-in-law, Louise; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; brothers, Billie (Yvonne) Robert, Donald (Irene); sisters, May Anderson (late Art), Helen (Norman) MacAulay, Thelma (Art) Maxner, Grace Bradshaw and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Doris (Collins, 1989), sons, Todd and Jason, two grandsons, sisters, Ruth Eadie and Margaret Snow.
Funeral service was held in Innisfail, Alta. Private interment in Cape Breton at a later date.
