Passed peacefully away on Saturday, September 17th, 2011 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, with her family by her side. Minnie Laura Ester Easton nee Gilley, at the age of 76 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children; Marie (Hayward Pinksen), Nola (Ben Feltham) of Deer Lake, N.L., Jacqueline Marshall of Clarkes Beach, N.L., Wayne (Marion) of Deer Lake, N.L., Eddy (Cathy) of Ottawa, Ont, Hughena (Calvin), Rhoda whom she resided with, & Loriann (Morgan Gillingham) all of Deer Lake, N.L., her 17 grandchildren; David, Jennifer, Ashley, Shawna, Tyler, Heather, Kimberly, Amanda, Jake, Joshua, Jodie, Tara, Michael, Alanah, Sammi, Jonathan, & Melissa, 2 step grandchildren; Devin, & Dino., her 7 great grandchildren; Brianna, Logan, Alexis, Liam, Benjamin, Zoey, & Owen., her special nephew; Gordon (Brud), her sisters; Hazel Pearce, Venus (Allan Thomas), Floss Bowman, Minnie was predeceased by her husband; Edwin (Ned) in 1993, brother; Philip, & sisters; Betty, Annie, Sadie. Also leaves to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family, & friends. The family will be receiving family and friends from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, N.L. Today, Monday, September 19th, 2011, from the hours of 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, September 20th, 2011, at 2: pm from The Salvation Army Church in Deer Lake, with Major: Wayne & Betty Ann Pike, & Pastor: Peter Grimes officiating with the burial to follow at the family plot at the Salvation Army Church Cemetery, on High Street, Deer Lake, N.L.
