Cyril Coz Tompkins

Tompkins, Cyril Coz (1935- 2011) - Cyril Coz Tompkins of Woodstock, NB passed away after a brief illness surrounded by those he loved and cared about him through it all on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at the Upper River Valley Hospital at the age of 75. Cycil was born on November 19, 1935 in Woodstock, NB , the only beloved son of Coz & Jenny (Dalling) Tompkins.
He lived a solitary life with his cat Tiger. He worked at GM plant for over 20 years painting car parts in Toronto before returning home after the death of his father. His many hobbies included his vegetable garden, his flowers, bird hunting, deer hunting, and four wheeling. Cyril bought Nintendo machines the very first day they came on the market and conquered every one Nintendo game that came out on the market. He would spend hours trying to beat them till Kyle told him about “Cheat Sheets” and he was in heaven when he knew you could win the games easier by use of these books.
At the age of 69 he decided he was going to join the computer world and conquered it. He learned paypal, ebay, downloads, uploads, burn, rips with the best of them all to his friends delight. Cyrils greatest passion were movies and the joy of collecting everyone. His life passion was to save and collect everything.
He was predeceased by his parents. He leaves behind treasured family and friends, Cousins, Evonne & Clem McGetchie; Merle and his wife Gloria Martin; June Phillips and her husband Carl; and his best hunting and fishing buddy/friend Ivan Davis and his wife Tammy who never let Cyril off with anything.
