GALLANT, FRANK - Passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2011. Devoted husband of Helen, beloved father of Sharon (Simon) and Greg, and proud grandfather of four beautiful granddaughters: Elizabeth, Lauren, Katherine and Megan. He also leaves many wonderful brothers and sister, nieces and nephews behind. Though he was tireless in his professional undertakings, his passion and priority was always his family. An avid sports fan, natural and gifted athlete, successful businessman, and a true gentleman, he will be greatly missed by the family who adored him. Though he had been battling illness for years, to the end, he continued to be productive, brave and selfless. He was an inspiration for all fortunate enough to have known him. Heartfelt thanks to the talented and compassionate physicians who cared for him throughout the years, including, but not limited to, Dr. Loertscher and Dr. Metrakos.
A private family service will take place at Rideau Funeral Home (514) 685-3344, on Sunday. Donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
