Lieu de décès : Nouvelle Ecosse, Canada
Date de décès : 24 août 2011

It is with broken hearts and precious memories that we announce the passing of our brother, uncle, granduncle, and devoted son and friend, Joseph Vincent Hart. Joe went to heaven (Wed. Aug. 24, 2011) and will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
Born December 12, 1959 in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late Allan and Olive (Jewell) Hart. Joe was a recent Cursillesta, which profoundly changed his life and filled him with the Holy Spirit. 2 Corinthians 5:17. This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old is gone; a new life has begun!
Our Joe was an outgoing man who loved people. He had a soft spot in his heart for anyone in need and helped everyone he could. He was a very compassionate man and had a heart of gold. Joe loved to fish but his greatest love was for God, family and friends and his pets. Joe, with his big heart, looked after our mom before she went to Heaven. He loved unconditionally. No problem of ours was too big for Joe, and it quickly became his problem too. He always helped us willingly and readily.
He will be sadly missed by his brothers, Jimmy (Raylene), Glace Bay, Allan (Nancy), Nunavut; sisters, Cathie MacLean, Glace Bay, Mary (Lionel) Port Morien.
Joe was a father figure to many of his nieces and nephews, who will miss him forever, Amanda, Jodie, Jeffery, Vrnda, Bradley, Brandon, Colin, Kayalah, Marisa, Dan, Alisha, Lacey, Trina, Tracey, Naryan. Also, grandnieces and grandnephews, Kerstin, Anthony, Trinnette, Brycen, Alliegha, Nathan, Joshua, Olivia, Colton, Gage, Brooklyn. Also his special friend, Goldie.
Joe’s final days on earth were spent in a small God filled community in Baker Lake, a wonderful vacation, a gift from his brother Allie and family. He greatly enjoyed this time with his family, meeting new people and making new friends. He also enjoyed being in his element, fishing. Every day, a couple of times a day, he fished at Baker Lake. This same loving community went above and beyond the call of duty to search for Joe, and for this we will be forever grateful. The last place Joe was fishing was Inukshuk Point.
A celebration of Joe’s life will be held Saturday, Oct. 1 at 2 p.m. at Lighthouse Church, 224 York St., Glace Bay, with Rev. Dave Sawler officiating.
You did not go alone, Joe! A piece of each of us went with you and we will miss you forever until we meet again. Even though your body is lost we know that you were found by our Jesus. May you enjoy eternal life in the house of our Lord. We love you so bigg!
