Paul, fondly known as P.B., beloved husband of Sandra Katrine Clinch for 31 years, with great sadness passed away at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, P.E.I., on Thursday, September 22, 2011, age 78 years.
He was born in Toronto, Canada. The son of the late Roy Emerson and Bessie (Rootham) Baylis and grandson of Horace and Edith Jane Rootham.
He is survived by children Linda (Stuart) Blumenthal, Anthony F. Gleave (Jacqueline) Baylis, Alexandra (Leslie) Brown and Peter R. Gleave (Jennifer) Baylis. Grandfather of Kelly, Natalie, Julia, Lucy and Kirk Baylis and Adam and Zachary Brown. Cousins Philip S. (Eileen) Gleave (predeceased) of Tetbury, Gloucestershire, U.K. and John (Anne) Gleave of Dublin, Ireland.
There will be no visitation or funeral service by personal request. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel, Charlottetown, P.E.I.
Interment at the Parklawn Cemetery, Etobicoke, Toronto, ON, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the P.E.I. Lung Association, Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation, Heart and Stroke Foundation of P.E.I. or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
