HICKS, CHERYL ANN - 1960-2011 - Cheryl Ann Hicks, 51, of Dawson Settlement passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 26, 2011 at her home. Cheryl was born on January 30, 1960 in Moncton, the daughter of the late Harold Maurice Hicks and Phyllis (Geldart) Hicks of Dawson Settlement. Cheryl was a cherished daughter, sister and sister -in-law. She loved to laugh and had a great time with family and friends. She enjoyed volunteering at the Boutique- House of Nazareth second hand clothing store. She loved her crafts and just last Sunday painted a bird house with the help of her mom. Cheryl really enjoyed music and reading her magazines. She especially enjoyed the holidays and everyone would get a card for every special occasion. Her favorite past time was shopping, her face would light up when she knew they were heading to the mall. She always had a smile for everyone she met. Cheryl had a way of letting her light shine through. She will live on in the hearts of her family forever. We have to remember all the years God gave us Cheryl and be thankful for all those wonderful times we shared. She will be deeply missed by her caring and devoted mother, Phyllis Hicks of Dawson Settlement who loved the time spent caring for Cheryl and by her treasured sister, Corinne Hicks and her husband Tony Gilchrist of Berryton. She will also be missed by her special friend, Cheryl Leaman of Prosser Brook who took Cheryl on outings three days a week. Cheryl thought the world of you. Also by several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her dad, Harold, in October 2010.
