Passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit, L.A. Miller Centre on October 15, 2009 at the age of 93. Predeceased by her husband Wilfred, son Graham and daughter Laura. Leaving to mourn her two beloved granddaughters: Erin and Megan (Matthew Hann); daughter-in-law Nancy French; special friends Roy and Marie Crann and Zoe Kavanagh; as well as many other friends. The family would like to thank the staff of the Palliative Care Unit and Margaret’s Manor. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from Barrett’s Chapel on Monday, October 19, 2009 at 2 p.m. with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
