MOORE, Karen (Cousins) – age 46, passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family and friends at the Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Thursday, September 29, 2011. Born on November 10, 1964 in Mackinsons, youngest daughter of the late Mary and Bernard Cousins. Leaving to mourn her loving husband Geoff and their two children Jeffrey (Kayla) and Gina (Dustin). Sharing in their grief three brothers Patrick (Julie), Cyril (Jesse), Wayne and five sisters Dale (Harv), Mary (Tony), Marguerite (George), Marie (Ken), Debbie (Ed) and predeceased by sister Lilly and brothers Johnny, Thomas, Georgie and twin boys. Karen will be sadly missed by a large extended family and a huge circle of friends and colleagues. Karen touched the lives of many with her infectious laugh, her dedication to her work and her undying dedication to her family and friends. Karen will always be remembered for her strength despite her lifetime battle with Lupus. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2011 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory can be made to the Lupus Foundation. A celebration of her life will be held at Memorial United Church, Clarenville at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 2, 2011.
