Stacey, Margaret Jean “Peg”- It is with much sadness that the family of the late Margaret Jean Stacey of Beaverbank, NS, wishes to announce her passing on September 30, 2011 in the QE11 Infirmary Site, Halifax.
Born in Trenton, NS she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth “Bess”(Wilson)MacLean.
Peg lived several years in Stellarton, having worked at the Pictou Detox. She later moved to Beaverbank where she was employed with Social Services in Lower Sackville. After retiring she became a member of the welcome wagon.
Peg is survived by her loving husband of 50 years Howard, sons Howard(Julie) and Stephen(Nadine), grandchildren Noelle, Adam, Jenna, Bailley and Madison.
Cremation has taken place.
The family will receive visitors from 10am until the time of service at 11am Tuesday October 4, 2011 in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home Chapel, New Glasgow with Father Peter MacDonald presiding. Reception to follow in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Peg may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
