Peacefully at the Prince Edward Home on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, of Bibiana May Murphy, formerly of Alexandra.
Bea was born on April 25, 1927, to the late F. Duncan and Mary Ellen Campbell of Newport. She was predeceased by her husband Frank (1992) and her son Alvin (2011). Left to mourn with loving gratitude for all that she has given us are her children, Caroline (Ute Korte), Elaine (Emmett MacDonald), Joseph (Sara Jane), daughter-in-law Nancy, Joyce (Scott Hassim), Peter (Rene), Glen,Ernest (Dawn), Doris (Dan Dunlop) and Danny (Jacki). She was the loving and proud grandmother of 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters Mary and Margaret, brothers Jerome (Harriet) and Gerald, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by brothers Peter, Joseph, Vernon and Leo (in infancy).
The family is grateful to the staff of the Prince Edward Home for their wonderful care of Mom in the last few years.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home until Thursday at 9:15 a.m., then to St. Joachim’s Church, Vernon River for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 4-7 p.m.
