STAPLES, YVONNE VIOLET - The passing of Yvonne Violet “Bonnie” Staples occurred on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 27, 1944 in Fredericton, NB, she was the beloved daughter of Mary (Guiggey) Staples and the late Leon Staples. Bonnie retired from housekeeping at the Victoria Public Hospital and the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. In addition to her mother, Bonnie is survived by her brother, Mike (Debby) Staples of Fredericton, NB; niece, Kara (Brad); nephew, Shawn (Lisa) and two great nieces, Madelynn and Olyvia.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, October 7, 2011 from 1 pm until the time of the funeral service at 2 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will take place in Burtts Corner Community Cemetery.
