Passed peacefully away at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander on October 19th, 2009. Michael Kelly, age 68 years, formerly of Bell Island. Mike was a life-time member of the Knights of Columbus. Predeceased by parents Owen and Aileen Kelly. Left with loving memories are his wife Marie; sons: John (Elaine) of Yellowknife, N.W.T., Michael (Wendy) of Calgary, Alta.; daughter Iris (Mike) Murphy of South Bar, N.S.; brothers: Ed (Sandi), Jim (Brenda), John, Owen (Vivian), Joe; sisters: Iris (Michael) Donohoe, Ellen (Wm. Kennedy), Patricia (Wm. Dwyer), Rose (Vic) Soares and Peg. Grandchildren: Stephen and Adam Kelly, Patrick Murphy, Nicole Kelly. Also a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Stacey’s Funeral Home with visitations Tuesday evening 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.., Thursday 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Funeral Mass Thursday, October 22nd at 2 p.m. from St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Gander. Interment All Saints Cemetery. Flowers are accepted or donations in Mike’s memory may be made to H.
