Passed peacefully away at her residence on October 11, 2009, Norrie Sheppard, age 88 years. Predeceased by her husbands: Charles Ash (1948) and Ralph (Archdeacon) Sheppard (1989), sister Marion Tessier (2000) and brothers: Harold and Stephen March. Leaving to mourn daughter Charlene Reid (nee Ash), her husband Dr. Philip H. Reid and grandson Philip D. C. Reid, Rothesay, N.B.; sister Olive Boone, St. John’s, many nieces, nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd. with visitation on Tuesday, October 20 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, October 21 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at 11 a.m. from the Anglican Cathedral. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
