Simon Boisvert, a long time resident of Dawson Creek, B.C. passed away on Monday, September 26, 2011 in Dawson Creek,at the age of 85 years.
A prayer service was held on Thursday, September 29, 2011 at 7:00 pm at the Notre Dame Catholic Church.
A Funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 30, at 11:00 am at the Notre Dame Catholic Church, Fr. Boniface Ogbenna and Fr. Terry Conway officiated. Interment was held in the Dawson Creek City Cemetery.
Simon was predeceased by his Parents; Josephat and Marie, Brothers; Charles, Leo-Paul, Germain, Armand, and Sister; Noella.
Simon is survived by his loving Wife; Theresa of 57 years, Sons; Roger (Barbara), Marcel (Margaret), Daughters; Lorraine (Frank), Bernadette (Ralph), and Helen. Grandchildren; Anna, Virginia, Tracy, Darrel, Adam, Nicole, Neil, Ashley, Jamey, and Alita. Great-Grandchildren; Tynisha, Alisha and Elilah and Sisters; Lucille, Therese, Jeanne D’ac and Germaine.
Simon will be dearly missed and not forgotten by his family, and his love and devotion for his wife Teresa is to be admired and respected as they celebrated 57 years of marriage.
