It is with great sadness that the family of the late John (Johnny) Wade Fennemore Jr. of St. Anthony, NL, announce his sudden passing on Oct. 2, 2011 at his private residence in Halifax, Nova Scotia at the age of 53 years. Leaving to mourn are his daughters Vanessa Fennemore (Feff Friedrich) and Melissa Fennemore (Jonathan Ajtay); sister Janis Fennemore (Tom Cowan); brother Baxter Fennemore (Gloria Man); Shannon Jefferson (niece); Steve Jefferson (nephew); Aiden Jefferson (great-nephew), Leah Jefferson (great-niece); stepmother Harriet Fennemore and his stepsisters Alvina Kelly, Marian Gaulton, Vanessa Kelly, Denise Haunda, and Noreen O’Neil. Visitation took place at Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Home on Oct. 12, followed by the funeral service at St. Anthony United Church on Wednesday, Oct. 13 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Stephanie McClellan officiating. Burial was held immediately following the service at the Fishing Point United Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickon, Lee Nippard, funeral director.
