It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of our dear brother Gordon Pittman on Sept. 22, 2011, at the Toronto General Hospital.
Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Jack and Kay (Furlong) Pittman.
Gordon is survived by his brother, Art (Kay) Pittman, Halifax, N.S.; three sisters, Gail (Nick) Bruevels, Stewiack, N.S., Helen (Stan), Cambridge, Ont., Tina (Wendell) Connors, Sydney, N.S.; a sister-in-law, Margeurite Pittman, Sydney, N.S. and by many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Gordie was predeceased by his brother, John and sister, Margie.
Cremation has taken place and a private family service will take place Nov. 3, 2011.
