STELLARTON - William Lawrence "Will" Psaila, Stellarton passed away peacefully Friday, October 14, 2011at home.
Born in Gzira, Malta, he was the son of the late Joseph and Carmena (Vella) Psaila. He was a self-employed carpenter who could make or build almost anything. He served in the Merchant Navy, France, for a number of years. Will enjoyed sailing and being in, on, or around the ocean. He was a loving husband and father.
Surviving are his wife of 21 years, Sheila (Zwicker); beloved children, Maria Psaila, Halifax; Liam Psaila, at home; sisters, Lourdes (Roby) Bonnett, Sliema, Malta.; Doreen (Joe) Cutajar, Gzira, Malta; brother, Joe (Jeanette) Psaila, Doveton, Australia; nephews, Brian, Marvin and Clint, Malta; father and mother-in-law, Gordon Smith and Isabel Zwicker, French Village; many sisters and brothers-in-law; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brother, Leslie Psaila in infancy.
The family will receive visitors 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow. There will be no funeral service at Will’s request.
