RICHARD, EMILE - (1940-2011) - MONCTON, NB - Emile Richard, 71, passed away peacefully at the Moncton City Hospital, on Friday, October 14, 2011. Born in Richibouctou-Village, he was the son of the late Dollard and late Rosee (Allain) Richard. Emile will be sadly missed by his loving companion; Shirley Lewis Cail, five sisters; Carmel Doucet of Waltham, MASS, Jacqueline Gallant (Albert) of Richibucto, Lucille Daigle of Richibucto, Juliette Ballow of Waltham, MASS, Bernice Dyon (Roger) of Laval, QUE, three brothers; Armande Richard (Arcadine) of Cap Lumiere, Andre Richard (Margaret) of Richibouctou- Village and Ronald (Ronalda) of Moncton also several nieces, nephews and extended family. Emile was predeceased by two sisters; Marie and Laura, one Brother; Leo Paul. Emile attended St. Michael's church parish in Moncton, much of Emile's life was devoted to helping others and he was recently retired from Castle Manor as a caregiver. Emile was an avid hunter and he enjoyed many other pastimes such as fishing, woodworking and gardening. He especially enjoyed bird watching and his favorite place was by the ocean.
As per Emile’s wishes there will be no visitation, or Funeral Service. A graveside committal will be held on Tuesday, October 18th at 11:00am St. Paul’s Anglican Church cemetery Brown’s Yard. Refreshments will be served following the graveside committal at the Church Hall. Donations to a charity of the Donor’s Choice would be appreciated by the family.
