Passed peacefully away at his home in Milltown on Wednesday, October 12, 2011, Mr. Freeman Foote, age 81 years. Leaving to mourn his loving family: wife, Ada; daughters, Diane and Colleen, both at Torbay, NL, and Margaret (Albert) at Ontario; sons, Dean (Aileen) at Ontario, John (Shelley) at Ontario, and Calvin (Vickie) at Gander, NL; twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Strickland at St. John’s and Jane Riggs at Fortune, NL; brother, George (Wendy) at Niagara Falls, ON; plus a large circle of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by parents, John and Dinah Jane. Funeral service was held on Saturday, October 15, 2011, at 2:00 pm from Christ Church in Milltown with Rev. Roy Simms officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery in Milltown.
