It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edward Lambert formerly of St. Alban’s, NL announce his passing at the Dartmouth General Hospital, Dartmouth, NS on Saturday October 15, 2011 at the age of 81. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Sylvester (Audrey), Conne River, NL, Elizabeth (Glen Brown), Edmonton, AB, Gerard, Ottawa, Joyce (Derrick Rice), Petrolia, ON, Geraldine (Tim Buckler), Halifax, NS, Ann Lambert (Tony), Dave, Genevieve Lambert all of Ottawa, ON, Veronica (Byron Clarke), Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Maggie Lambert (Leonard), Dartmouth, NS, Leanne Lambert, St. John’s, NL, Helen (Leroy Anderson), Adam (Melanie), all of Ottawa, ON; 25 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother: Jim (Lenora), St. Alban’s, NL as well as a large circle of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife: Veronica; son: Patrick; brothers: Bill, Junior & Raymond; sister: Iris Organ. The funeral service was held on Thursday October 20, 2011 at 11 am at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban’s with Father Edward Brophy officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban’s. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
