Passed peacefully away at the Placentia Lions Manor Nursing Home in the presence of her loving daughter Maxine and her niece Denise Young on Monday, October 17, 2011, Eileen Brown, age 85 years, of Dunville, formerly of Tack’s Beach, P. Bay. Predeceased by her husband Maxwell Brown, her parents Samuel James Brown and Mary Jessie Williams, sisters: Jenny Bowersox & Lilly Picco, brother Cyril H. Brown. She leaves to mourn with loving memories her daughter Maxine Newman (Len); grandson Chris Newman (Bridget); granddaughter Jennifer Newman McNeil (Tom); sisters-in-law: Maude Brown, Annie Brown, Beatrice Dewling, Gladys Ryan & Molly Jones; a large number of other nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends, especially the staff and the residents of The Lions Manor Nursing Home. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Friday, October 21, 2011 from 2:00 - 9:00 p.m. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in her memory to the Cancer Society.
